Katie Kendrick Workshop

A couple weeks ago, I went to a workshop with Katie Kendrick in the beautiful little town of Coupeville, Wa. The weather was beautiful (although I thought it was funny that the locals were saying how "hot" it was. it was lows in the 50's and highs in the low 70's. shawl weather for me! lol)

I love this little town, Coupeville. There were some pretty great restaurants too.

If you ever get the chance to take one of her workshops, please do. I really feel I evolved and grew during that week. She helped me create wonderful mistakes….got me to the uncomfortable spot of creating…and then followed our intuition to this lovely place of self-expression. thank you Katie, love you!

    The beautiful things I see from your workshop projects: I would know at a glance that is a "Mindy" piece, yet I see some new color combinations; perhaps as a result of taking Katie's class. And your comment of being pushed outside your comfort zone... I guess I just assume all artists are confident in their marks and know what they are doing at all times. But I see we all need exposure to new ways of doing things in order to grow. Thank you for sharing.
