I made a new journal!

Hey friends! Happy Monday! I have been so inspired by Jennie Mae June lately and wanted to create a new journal inspired by her laminated cover journal.

I took a 9x12 laminating pouch and filled it up with glitter, stickers and washi tape and laminated it.

I used binding thread to stitch my papers together. I filled it with watercolor and sketchbook paper along with some deli paper to make it interesting. And then I tied some confetti tulle around to help keep it closed.

My favorite thing to add to journals is dangles and clips. It just makes me so happy.

You can sign up here!

Don't forget if you are on Patreon, look for your discount link that was just posted a few days ago.

If you love the painting, you can purchase the original here

Are you ready to play in paint? Join me as I lead you into my painting process where I use my hands and play with making marks and color. We'll dive into building libraries of face, mark and paint studies that will strengthen your voice when you paint. We'll take risks with cardboard and celebrate happy accidents.

Patreon price is $33.00 (available for those on the $20 tier)

What the class includes:

  • faces studies - 3 face studies
  • painting prompts
  • mark making
  • 10x10" painting on wood board using the studies, marks, and prompts as our guides
  • painting on cardboard
  • 6 total videos ( the final painting is broken into two videos)
  • downloadable PDFs
  • lifetime access!

Class begins March 24th!

How long will I have access to the course? Lifetime access.

Is this class for beginners? If you are familiar painting faces, then this will be perfect. I would suggest my Acrylic Girl for beginners course to complete first if you are an absolute first time in painting faces.

Can I substitute supplies for things I already have? yes indeed! Use similar colors to achieve this cute girl. The most important color will be the quinacridone nickel azo gold from golden.

supply list: will be emailed to you in the welcome message when you sign up!
