Permission to Play. I just feel the freedom in those words! I hope you'll give yourself permission to play in paint a lot this year. I get asked the question a lot "how do you make painting look so easy? and how did you find your style?" Basically my answer is to play in paint every day and embrace "accidents". That is it. Easier said than done, maybe....but I believe if you love the process of painting and really give yourself permission to play, magic happens. You get lost in the process and time seems to slip away.
Class begins February 1st, 2015. Sign up anytime.
More details:
- Projects from me every month and some months there will be a bonus video or a project from a guest artist.
- at least 18 projects to keep you inspired through the year.
- more Guest artists TBA later
- you'll have forever access to my P2P ruzuku classroom once you sign up. You can work on the projects at your own pace.
- I'm offering a payment plan for 11 months for $11.50 - see below

- playing with color
- and choosing color as to not overwhelm you...but to inspire
- so much more as I discover on my own and share with you
I'm so thrilled to announce that Victoria Weiss has signed on to be one of our guest artists!! She will be first in the lineup with her project posting in Feb or March. I met Victoria online through the MATS group (Make art that sells hosted by Lilla Rogers). Victoria made it into the finalist rounds of the Global Talent search competition through the same group. And let me tell you folks, from the list of creatives that is big time HUGE!! I am so honored to have her share her process with you! You can go here to see more of her work ----->> Butterpop Studio

FAQ:
How long do I have access to the class?
You now get forever access to all my classes to work at your own pace.
Do I need to purchase all the supplies at once?
I suggest you watch the videos first before going out and buying everything at once. You may have something already on hand that you can use. The wood boards are what I like to work on but you can work on paper or canvas. Whatever you like the best!
Do you give refunds or can I share the material with others?
After payment is made, sorry no refunds. Please do not share the material or videos with anyone. thank you!
Will there be a Facebook group for this class?
Yes. It's the perfect way to connect and share. You don't have to share, but from the past...we've had amazing supportive, encouraging community of folks. You will, no doubt, meet some long-time friends.
Can I pay for a couple months using the installment plan and then opt out anytime throughout the year? No, sorry. I have included a payment plan this time around because there are several folks who have asked me about having one. The payment plan will bill your credit card 11 times for $11.50....once monthly. This is meant only to be a courtesy and not pick-n-choose time payment plan. Once you sign up, your credit card will be billed each month for 11 months. The 11 month total comes to $126.50 so you will save money by signing up for the one time payment.

What the students say:
Classes by Mindy reminds me of letting things unfold naturally without pressure. Getting in touch with our innermost essence, and the feeling that everything is ok. Supportive , inspirational, fun, loving, and playful .If you want to give yourself a nice gift this year take a class with Mindy - M. Hebert
I have to tell you, I haven't had this much fun in an online class in 5 years. And I have taken approximately 10-12 online classes. I feel like I am finally painting "raw" and free like I have always wanted to. I have been tight, and haven't been able to loosen up, and this class, FINALLY is getting me there. I love the simplicity of black and white and a little color. I love the imperfections of the faces you have taught me how to create. - C. Thomas
Mindy's classes have taught me not to be too restraining....I have opened up to free flowing movement, not over-thinking, moving way outside my comfort zone and actually really enjoying myself...definitely letting go of perfection!!! Thank you Mindy for allowing me to grow in so many different directions within a safe and friendly community!!! - D. Giles
I can't thank you enough for sharing your talent with others....me....through your classes. I take several of them. They are inspiring, educational, productive and FUN!!!!! - A. Green
There is something irresistible about Mindy Lacefield, her art, and her classes, and I think it's the sincerity and gentleness that shine through all of these. If you are looking to be guided and helped into letting go and creating something that is spontaneous and surprising, then you should take one of her online classes, where you will be taught about the supplies you will use and the techniques you will need, in the most natural way possible. - A. M. Stone
Mindy's primitive portraits classes are so inspiring and have opened me up to a new way of creating. Her lessons are simple and easy to follow. Her encouragement and support throughout the classes is something not easily found but is what makes her so special. Learning to let go and create more intuitively and raw is something I have been longing for in my artwork. Her classes are just what I needed to take my work to the next level! If you have never taken a class with Mindy I highly recommend doing so! You will love it! - C. Bueti

ReplyDeleteoooOOOooOOooOoOhhh <3 This new online workshop is making me think about this song : "Oh, my life is changing everyday, In every possible way. And oh, my dreams, it's never quite as it seems, Never quite as it seems. I know I've felt like this before, but now I'm feeling it even more, Because it came from you. And then I open up and see the person falling here is me, A different way to be..." You are the person I needed to meet for a looooooong time !!
