Think About such Things

I am so thrilled about this latest project that I created for Prima! This Angel was created by cutting out a cardboard shape and paper-mache-ing found papers onto the body to create beautiful textures. I then painted the whole figure with the heavy body white gesso. After letting it dry, I used the incredible Prima oil pastels to add color and texture to the face and body. The watercolor pencils and stabilo graphite pencil served as a way to finish with detail around the facial features.....as well as adding scripture inside the body. I added some sparkle to the crown with Finn's wonderful glitter (adhering it with the soft gloss gel).
