Think About such Things

I am so thrilled about this latest project that I created for Prima! This Angel was created by cutting out a cardboard shape and paper-mache-ing found papers onto the body to create beautiful textures. I then painted the whole figure with the heavy body white gesso. After letting it dry, I used the incredible Prima oil pastels to add color and texture to the face and body. The watercolor pencils and stabilo graphite pencil served as a way to finish with detail around the facial well as adding scripture inside the body. I added some sparkle to the crown with Finn's wonderful glitter (adhering it with the soft gloss gel).

  1. Your work always blows me off my feet, this little creation is particularly masterful.

  2. beautiful. my favorite verse of all. i have it on my bathroom mirror, and the words engraved on a necklace! but this beats both!
