. It inspired me to paint this new painting called Drip, drip drop. I swear, i have been singing that tune from the Bambi soundtrack ......"drip, drip, drop.....little april showers"....i can't get it out of my head!In sharp contrast, the Pacific NW has had some sweltering heat in the upper 100's which is where we (arkansas) should be at this time of year.
my sweet art friend, Tara and I, have officially switched climates for the week.....sorry to say....i got the good end :-)
nevertheless.....i think they are normalizing again and we are warming up.
I'm so ready for fall.
It can't get here soon enough.......
pumpkin pie, halloween, cool mornings, hot tea, a good book on the back porch, cute hand-made scarves, back to school, ............is i can think about in the summers.
Fall is my favorite time of the year, too. I love the colors of fall (although I don't get a lot of foliage here in SoCal, but I grew up in MA, so I have good memories!) and the coolness after a long hot summer.
