anyhooo back to the stencils. My favorite ones are the profile and forward facing stencils but they are all pretty spectacular. What I adore about these stencils is that it gives you a perfect guide to springboard into painting a face. You can take them into so many directions. I've always had trouble painting profile faces but with this little jewel, I can really rock it.
Thank you Jane for helping us to paint better and to artist cellar for producing such a fab product. OH and another thing ....the stencils are really thick and hold up well to working in your journal. Beautiful!
And be sure and check out all the other amazing art that these folks have created. I've seen most of them and it truly is wonderful!

ReplyDeleteI like your different take on using these stencils. I'd like to use more faces in my work but often I'd rather not spend way too much time getting them down......these stencils would make it so much easier.

I love what you have done with the stencils. I love my wrinkles as unflattering they may seem to younger souls. Each one of them is a memory in itself.
ReplyDeleteI love these stencils - I've been working on doing faces and I think these will help. My favorite feature of myself are my ears - they are the right proportion and close to my head, thank goodness since I wear my hair very short.

ReplyDeleteReally wonderful what you did with the stencils, you made the faces so your own!!

How wonderfully you've used those stencils and made something that is still totally in your style. It's very inspiring. My favourite facial feature is my cheek bones. They give me otherwise fairly lacklustre face so real structure! :-)

ReplyDeleteMindy, I love what you created and I love these stencils. A person who has a face drawing phobia like me, will love this aid. Thanks so much for sharing.
ReplyDeleteMy cheekbones are my favorite feature. They are big as bolders. Everyone says I have chipmunk cheeks. For years I was putting on my blush the wrong way and now that i know where to apply it, I think they are even more flattering. I love putting on makeup. I love that i can not only be an artist on paper, but on my face as well. I love being a woman! Thanks so much for giving everyone this opportunity. I hope I win. I need to make a blogger account. Haha! ;)

ReplyDeleteMy teeth.....lots and lots of time in braces plus jaw surgery. I also like having blue yes to frame with brown/bronze eye shadow. I love Jane too (student in her on line classes like I am with you). Mindy, your art using Jane's stencils are so amazing. I would absolutely love to own them, and then apply what I have learned from you and Jane in making use of the stencils. It is so wonderful that you and Jane have already met during Teesha's event. I hope you and Jane plus Teesha and Tracy make it out to San Francisco, where I live. I would love to play tour guide and take you to all my favorite places.

I love your site and will be signing up later this week for a group, I'm grabbing your button so I find my way back here rather than looking through past saved emails. I just purchased the small face stencils and can't wait to use them, I'm sure I will want the large ones too at some point. My eyes are big and dark brown, always my best feature, though I'm not so young anymore:)
ReplyDeleteLook forward to jumping in soon!
Way to go gal...your art as always AB FAB. Love Jane's new stencils :)
